SOLD - Swedish 1850s Light Grey Painted Wall Cabinet with Glass Doors and Distressing

SOLD - A Swedish painted wood wall cabinet from the mid 19th century with two glass doors, carved cornice, repainted on the outside in a light grey color. Created in Sweden during the mid 19th century, this wall cabinet features a nicely carved cornice, sitting above two glass doors opening thanks to a petite key to a distressed interior which has been scraped to reveal its original paint. This interior is made of inner shelves offering convenient display opportunities. The sides are sans décor and the piece is ready to be hung. The ensemble has been repainted in a light grey color typical of the Swedish taste for soft palettes aiming at brightening the rooms during the long and dark Scandinavian winters. With its clean lines, glass doors and nicely distressed appearance, this Swedish painted wood wall cabinet from the mid 19th century will make for a lovely addition to any home, particularly placed in a kitchen!
