Created in France during the 19th century, this cherry commode showcases the stylistic characteristics of the Louis XVI era. The commode features a rectangular top with good signs of aging, sitting above a perfectly organized façade. Three drawers, adorned with beautiful veneer and thin brass frames, are each fitted with Classical beaded ring pulls on circular backplates, flanking a central ribbon tied escutcheon. The sides and back present recessed panels. The ensemble is raised on four elegant tapered legs mounted on petite brass feet.
