SOLD - An Italian walnut commode from the 19th century, with four drawers, carved panels, dentil molding, cross banding and elongated bun feet. Created in Italy during the 19th century, this walnut commode features a rectangular top with rounded edges, sitting above a carved dentil molding. The façade showcases four drawers, each adorned with three carved panels accented with banding and fitted with bronze hardware. The sides are made of recessed panels and the back, made of simple planks, is of course unfinished. The ensemble is raised on four feet. The front ones are elongated bun feet and the back ones are straight. In an interested and unusual manner, the sides are adorned with carved aprons. With its great proportions, walnut patina and elegant lines, this Italian walnut commode from the 19th century will bring an undeniable touch of refinement to any home, perhaps placed in a bedroom, living room, or foyer.
