Created in Sweden at the Turn of the Century (which saw the transition between the 19th to the 20th century), this dining table features a rectangular top with rounded corners, sitting above a two-pillar base. This top separates into two parts (the extension slides can even be fully removed) and up to three additional leaves each measuring 19.75"W can be added. Each section is supported by a pedestal base raised on four scrolling legs with brass lion paw feet mounted on casters. The table will therefore be moved more easily. The ensemble is painted in a soft color typical of the Swedish taste for light palettes aiming at brightening the rooms during the dark winters of Scandinavia. It boasts rustic character.
