SOLD - Swedish 1790s Provincial Bonnet Top Cabinet with Doors, Drawers and Bead Motifs

SOLD - A Swedish Provincial cabinet from the late 18th century, with bonnet top, doors, drawers and nicely weathered patina. Created in Sweden during the last decade of the 18th century, this painted cabinet draws our attention with its bonnet top sitting above two arching doors that open to reveal inner shelves (including a spoon shelf) offering convenient storage space. Four drawers (a narrow one followed by three larger ones), fitted with ring pulls, make up the rest of the façade. Adorned with petite square bead-like motifs and boasting a nicely weathered appearance, the cabinet is painted in a soft color typical of the Scandinavian taste for light palettes. Raised on four bracket feet, this Swedish Provincial cabinet circa 1790 will be a great focal point in any home, perhaps placed in a living room, foyer or bedroom.
