Created in Sweden during the first quarter of the 19th century, this painted desk features a slanted desk (measuring 34.25"D x 31.5"H) opening to reveal multiple drawers surrounding a central door. Two pull-outs flank a reeded panel while the lower section showcases three dovetailed drawers. Raised on four ogee bracket feet, this late Gustavian desk circa 1820 is painted in a soft color typical of the Scandinavian taste for light palettes, making it a great choice to decorate any living room, study or bedroom.
