SOLD - A French Louis XVI period carved wooden trumeau mirror from the late 18th century, with ribbon-tied garland of flowers and twisted motifs. Born in the later years of the 18th century, this exquisite wooden trumeau mirror features in its upper section a carved panel, adorned with garlands of flowers connected to one another through a large bow with tassels. The molded frame is accented with twisted ribbon and beaded motifs while the lower section presents the mirror plate showing some signs of aging. With its elegant Louis XVI lines and delicate décor, this French trumeau mirror from the late 18th century, will bring a graceful touch of elegance to any home, perhaps hung over a credenza, enfilade or console table.
