SOLD - Charleston Desire I, American Contemporary Cityscape Painting by Andy Braitman

SOLD - 'Charleston Desire I' is a square format cityscape painting created by American artist Andy Braitman. Depicted with energetic strokes, the scene depicts one of the streets of Charleston, SC. The day is bright, the atmosphere is serene. The soft color palette used by the artist is delicately accented by the red tones of a bus that is making a stop to pick up passengers. Set inside a simple floater frame, this painting is signed lower left. Placed anywhere on a wall, this piece will enliven any space beautifully. Andy Braitman was chosen by Nancy Reagan as one of America's Leading Artists, along with other notable artists such as Frank Stella and Andrew Wyeth, and asked to contribute a decorated Easter egg to the White House. The egg is now on display in the Smithsonian Institute Castle.
