SOLD - A vintage American rock crystal inkwell from the mid 20th century with silver plated American Waltham Watch Co. clock. Made in the USA during the first half of the 20th century, this inkwell features a rock crystal flaring body adorned with a star-shaped body at the bottom, supporting a petite clock (please note that it is not currently in working condition). Surrounded by a silver plated structure, the clock, which is the inkwell's lid, lifts up to reveal the interior. The face showcases the inscription "A.W.W. Co. Waltham Mass", standing for the American Waltham Watch Company which produced watches, clocks, speedometers, compasses, time delay fuses, and other precision instruments in the United States of America between 1850 and 1957. Boasting nice traces of aging, this American rock crystal and silver plated clock-themed inkwell from the first half of the 20th century will make for a lovely addition to any desk top!.
