A pair of English carved stone tulip shaped urns from the early 20th century with flaring mouths, petite bases and rustic character. Created in England during the Roaring Twenties in the first quarter of the 20th century, each of this pair of garden urns features a tulip shaped body resting on a small base. The flaring mouth, adorned with scalloped lines, leads our eyes to the curving body accented with large carved petals. Gadroon and scoop motifs complete the urn while the ensemble is raised on a small square-shaped base. Boasting a nicely weathered patina revealing their age and life spent outdoors, this pair of English carved stone tulip urns circa 1920 will make for a lovely addition to any garden!
