SOLD - Swedish Gustavian Style 1900s Painted Oval Dining Room Table with Three Leaves

SOLD - A Swedish Gustavian style painted wood extension dining room table from the early 20th century, with three leaves. Created in Sweden during the early years of the 20th century, this Swedish dining room table features an oval top resting on an apron adorned with carved reeded diamonds on the knees. Raised on six tapered legs with brass feet, the table showcases three leaves (measuring 19.75"W each), that can be removed at will. While it can be sometimes difficult to find a traditional Swedish table with a carved apron on the extensions, this one presents a continuous apron running through the length, regardless of the number of leaves used. Its elegant simplicity, as well as its light color palette typical of the Scandinavian taste, will make this Gustavian style Swedish table circa 1900 a perfect choice to decorate any dining room or breakfast area.
