A pair of French Louis XIV style walnut armchairs from the 19th century, with scrolling arms, cross stretchers and new upholstery. Created in France during the 19th century, each of this pair of walnut armchairs features a slanted back connected to two large scrolling open arms. The seat, along with the back, has been recently upholstered with a neutral toned fabric complimenting the walnut grain beautifully. Each chair is raised on four scrolling legs connected to one another through an X-form stretcher. With their elegant Louis XIV lines and walnut patina, this pair of French fauteuils will bring a stately presence to any living room or bedroom. The arms are 27" high.
