Polished bronze candlestick (golden color) 19th century empire with lion’s paw tripod base, fluted barrel mounted as a lamp.
New electrification: golden brass socket for bulb, mounted on a ball joint to allow the lampshade to be positioned straight, new wire.
The power supply assembly goes through the inside of the candle holder.
Its rectangular lampshade was created from toile de jouy decorated with a casserole dish and birds on a red background with a soutache finish on the corners.
Note: small dent on the fluted barrel visible in the photos.
