Born in France during the reign of Louis XV nicknamed "The Beloved", this walnut table features a rectangular planked top with rounded corners and bevelled edges, sitting above a delicate apron, scalloped on all sides, allowing the table to float in any room. A hand cut dovetailed central drawer opens thanks to a bail handle. The table is raised on four cabriole legs, typical of the Louis XV period. With its understated décor, lovely Silhouette and nice walnut patina, this French mid-18th century table will bring a touch of elegance to any home, perhaps placed in a living room, bedroom or office.
