Created in France during the 19th century, each of this pair of fauteuils features a slightly slanted back connected to two open scrolling arms adorned with carved foliage. The seat, along with the back, is upholstered with a new neutral colored double welt fabric and rests on four cabriole legs with carved apron, connected to one another through an X-form cross stretcher. With their skillfully carved decor and Régence style lines, this pair of 19th century walnut armchairs will bring a touch of French elegance to any living room or bedroom. Each seat is 20.25" D.
