Born in Sweden during the last quarter of the 18th century, each of this pair of neoclassical Demilune features a semi-circular top with beaded trim, sitting above an exquisite apron, accented with a guilloche frieze. Each table is raised on three tapered legs topped with low-relief carved rosettes on the knees and is painted in a light color typical of the Scandinavian taste for soft palettes aiming at brightening the homes of Sweden during the long winter.
