A pair of French Louis XVI style painted wood armchairs from the 19th century with oval backs, scrolled open arms, fluted legs and new upholstery. Each of this pair of French fauteuils features an oval back adorned with a delicately carved ribbon in the crest. Two partially upholstered arms are decorated with scrolled knuckles and flank a newly covered seat with double welt upholstery. Each chair is raised on four fluted legs accented with carved medallion on the knees. The light color palette, combined with the distinguished elegance of the Louis XVI lines will make this pair of French open arms armchairs from the 19th century an excellent choice for any home, from a living room to a bedroom.
