SOLD - A pair of Italian walnut paneled double doors from the second half of the 19th century with original bronze hardware and keys and custom surround. Each of this pair of Italian double doors features some of the most beautiful European walnut we have ever seen. The panelling is symmetrically organized and shows a play between recessed and raised panels that creates a harmonious yet interesting visual effect. Each pair of doors is set inside a custom surround and comprises its original bronze hardware and keys. The grand simplicity of the lines, combined with a rich patina revealed by the detailed panelling, will make this pair of Italian double doors circa 1870 an excellent choice for any home.
