SOLD - A Swedish Gustavian style painted wood buffet with gallery and diamond patterns on the doors and original hardware from the 1830s. This Swedish buffet features a rectangular top surrounded by a three-quarter wooden gallery over a beveled molding. The façade is made of two doors with reeded diamond motifs typical of the Gustavian period, adorned with their original locks and key. The doors open to reveal four inner shelves, offering great storage possibilities. The ensemble is raised on four short tapered and curved feet. Painted in a light cream color that seems to be original, this Gustavian style buffet from the first half of the 19th century will be a great and discreet addition to any décor, from a foyer to a living room.
