SOLD - A French rare gilt bronze Louis XVI style six-light chandelier with quiver and arrows motif from the late 19th century. This French gilt bronze chandelier features an exquisite central shaft, shaped in the form of a quiver with arrows. The upper section of the quiver is decorated with a beaded ring, adorned with delicate rosettes typical of the Louis XVI era. The quiver is subtly tapering down, ending up with foliage motifs. This central shaft supports the six scrolled arms, accented with acanthus leaves and fluted bobèches. The chandelier has been rewired for the US. With its unusual decor and its golden hue, this French six-light chandelier circa 1890 will brighten any room beautifully.
