SOLD - A French turn of the century four-light giltwood chandelier with carved central column and scrolled arms. Born at the turn of the 19th-20th century, this French chandelier features a central fluted column, adorned with delicately carved swags and waterleaves. The lower basket is decorated with elongated leaves, whose lines seem to flow into a twisted fluted pattern. Four scrolled arms, connected to the basket, are accented with acanthus leaves and support bobèches with beaded motifs. Elegant and regal, this French giltwood chandelier, circa 1900, will brighten up any room beautifully, from a bedroom to a dressing room or powder room.
