A set of 64 hand painted stamped Royal Copenhagen china from the early 20th century, with multi-color floral décor and scalloped gilt trim. Born in Denmark during the first half of the 20th century, this 16-piece place setting and serving dishes features an exquisite floral décor presenting delicate multicolored flowers accented with green leaves, adorning the body of each dish. The various pieces present a gilt trim, enhancing beautifully the flowers' colorful tones. Perfect to accommodate 16 guests, the entire service charms our eyes with its elegant lines and lovely décor. Queen Juliana Maria was the driving force to have each piece of porcelain stamped with the Royal Copenhagen logo, a crown above three waves, that can be seen on the underside. The waves represent the three Danish waterways: the Oresund, the Great Belt and the Little Belt.
