Born during the 19th century, this set of French dining room side chairs presents the stylistic traits of the Louis XV period. Each chair features a slightly slanted camelback with delicate interruption in the crest, upholstered, like the seat, with a reddish brown leather accented with a nailhead trim. Each seat rests on a molded skirt, delicately scalloped on all sides, and is raised on four elegant cabriole legs with scrolled feet. The warmth of the old leather upholstery compliments the walnut patina beautifully, making this set of eight French Louis XV style side chairs an excellent choice for any dining room. The seats are 17 inches deep and 19 inches high.
