SOLD - Three Italian silver gilt and painted candlesticks from the 18th century, priced and sold individually. Born in Italy during the 18th century, each of these three wooden candlesticks boasts a lovely silver gilt structure, adorned with painted highlights providing an excellent contrast of colors. Raised on a tripartite base, each candlestick is adorned with carved motifs such as shells, shields, waterleaves and foliage, while the upper section presents the metal pricket meant to receive a candle. With their graceful silhouettes, nicely weathered appearance and exquisite carved decor, these three Italian 18th century candlesticks will be a great decorative addition to any home, displayed as a single or as a set. They are priced $1,590 each.
