This French sofa features a beautifully serpentine upper rail, adorned with exquisite hand-carved motifs. The back flows seamlessly into two tall arms with scrolled knuckles. The back and arms are recovered with a smooth double welt muslin while the seat comprises three custom cushions. The piece is raised on seven scrolled feet, connected to one another through a stunning skirt, hand-carved with delicate flowers in the front and beaded motifs. With its graceful Louis XV lines, the dark hue of its walnut and its lovely décor, this French 19th century sofa will bring an elegant presence to any living room. The seat itself is 23.5" deep.
